Panda Charity Project 2025
A Smile Lasts a Minute but the Memory Lasts a Life Time.
Cancer is a devastating disease that effects people of all ages. Young families can be overwhelmed as they help their child battle cancer and its effects.
The Panda Lacrosse Club members are organizing a Charitable Project to assist families who are battling childhood cancer. During the Spring of 2025 we will be collecting returnable bottles and turning them in for collection. This not only raises money for a charitable contribution but also helps the environment.
The goal is to raise $1,200.00 USD to donate equally to two well deserving organisations.
The first $600,00 USD will go to the McDonald’s Kinderhilfe Deutschland. McDonald's Children's Aid Germany has been committed to the health and well-being of children in Germany since 1987. The foundation operates Ronald McDonald Houses near children's hospitals across Germany as temporary homes for families of seriously ill children.
The second $600,00 USD will go to the Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center in New York city. At Memorial Sloan Kettering, they care for children and adults with all types of cancer, from the most common to the most rare.
